Education without skill is like a journey without destination. Skill enhancement is the need of the hour for the Indian society especially in the era of globalization. Keeping this view in mind a vocational training centre was established to provide technical training in various trades for the marginalized youths. At present our Vocational Training Programme provides training in selected vocations such as beauty culture, cutting & tailoring to the community youth and women who would enable them to earn a living through employment and self-employment. The centre is fully equipped with the required material and training staff to carry out effective and productive training programmes.

RWDA has started a new strategic initiative for the professional and economic development of underprivileged community youth and women, which in the previous year of intervention showed positive results. The Vocational training programme has been providing skill development training to the youth of the community and developing their confidence to establish themselves in the civil society. The programme has successfully mainstreamed more than 4000 youth and women after its inception. The project has been creating awareness in the community and it is observed that youth are steadily changing their perception of their future growth. The classes are conducted in well-built and comfortable classrooms with necessary equipment. The faculties for teaching different trades are professionally qualified. Visits to factories, exhibitions, trade fair and technical institutes are organized from time to time. The centre runs in two shifts, morning and afternoon, to cater to the beneficiaries.
