HEATH CAMPS

Our healthcare services expand beyond the General OPD visits to include conducting specialised health camps at strategic places in the slum or amongst underprivileged communities. During these special events, children receive vital immunizations, while our supporting dedicated doctors go the extra mile to cater to these people. These face-to-face conversations allow community members to ask questions they might normally feel rushed to discuss, share personal health worries, and receive thoughtful guidance from healthcare providers. The relaxed atmosphere of these camps helps build trust and breaks down barriers, ensuring everyone, especially those who do not have access to healthcare facilities receive the compassionate care they deserve.

HIV AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS

In partnership with the local hospitals, we have been conducting HIV awareness campaigns in Wazirpur Industrial Area, targeting underserved communities with limited health knowledge. Our program provides education on prevention, free confidential testing, and proper medical support for those who test positive, ensuring accessible healthcare for all.

CORONA EPIDEMIC

During the challenging 2020-2021 lockdown period, when countless migrants and vulnerable individuals faced displacement and hardship, RWDA stepped forward as a beacon of hope. We provided emergency shelter, nutritious meals, and essential supplies to those in need. Our comprehensive response included COVID-19 safety training, mask and sanitizer distribution, and ensuring both immediate relief and long-term protection for our community’s most vulnerable members.
